It’s been raining since Sept 8, 2017 until the 12th and the city of Iloilo is suffering from floods in different areas. From Lapaz, Jaro, Pavia, Villa and Manduriao water level is getting higher and higher.
Classes are being suspended since Monday (Sept 11, 2017) local students are just staying safe at home due to the flood. Also the jeepneys and vehicles are having a hard time going around the city since almost everywhere there is flood.
Hopefully this tropical depressions will be out tomorrow or within this week, so that the flood will not reach to a higher level and the rain will stop. We at iStorya Iloilo prays for everyone’s safety.
